The kids will be alright

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/story?id=5528104&page=1

Based on the story above from ABC News (wretch), I'm very confident that Obama will never get elected strictly because people are catching on that he's a complete empty suit and Americans, except for the virulent left, don't like being preached to and announced to the world that we Americans ought to apologize for just about everything.  He won't make it.

Now, Hillary Clinton never did "officially" announce that she was bowing out of the race.  She just suspended her "official" primary campaigning.  Just to prove how devious and self-centered the Clintons are (Obama still has a lot to learn from the purveyors of bile), it looks as though they're going to potentially call for an open floor vote at the DNC convention for the final choice of the candidate.  This will shatter that party getting to November.

A lot of Hillary supporters promised NOT to support Obama.  A lot of Obama supporters promised NOT to support Hillary.  We have the potential of an all out civil war breaking out in Denver!  It's gonna be GREAT!!!

Just remember, the Clinton's don't care about anyone but themselves.  If they destroy the Party of the Donkey along the way, so be it.  They are all about power and nothing else.

Maybe nothing will happen and everything will go smoothly for them, but maybe not.  Either way, just having to address this type of tension and dissatisfaction in the ranks of that party says something about the people involved.  Their platform is corrupt at the core and hence they have these rather trivial things to worry about.  Both sides need to run further to the left, thereby separating themselves of the original intent of this country, in order to get the nomination.  They will do anything to accomplish this.  Obama will flip-flop some more to bring himself back from the brink of moderation, albeit microscopic and dubious in honesty, that he's fiddled with the past several months.  Clinton will do the same.

Clinton (well, her supporters anyway so she can be insulated) will call DISENFRANCHISEMENT (which, by the way if you look in the dictionary for definition, you'll see a picture of an A.C.O.R.N on a donkey) and it's all because she's a woman and there's a deep seated gender bias ingrained in the process.

Obama (his supporters…well he himself since he is The One, The Savior, The Chosen One…A Newly Improved Holy Trinity contained in a suit and ears) will call RACISM (which, by the way, if you look in the same dictionary as previously mentioned, you'll see a picture of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton & Obama dressed as The Three Stooges) and there's a deep seated messiah bias ingrained in the process.  In this, he might have a point since one of the Democrat party platforms is separation of religion from state.  Just ask the ACLU!  Since he IS The One, they shouldn't be following him.  Right?

Another shot against Obama is that he has made many pronouncements that he's a candidate of change (whatever exists, it needs a-changin') and unity.  Well, if he can't get his own party to unify, how in the holy heck is he going to unite a country (and the world for that matter)?  He has too many fatal flaws in his campaign platforms and personal beliefs to get him elected in November.  And now, even if it's very small, there's at least an outside shot that he won't even make it out of the DNC convention.

I think the kids will be alright.

Straight Talk Express takes a Left

Excellent story exposing John McCain at it again on his Straight Talk Express.  This is why it is so befuddling to see the conservative ranks of the Republican Party blindly following a self absorbed liberal in conservative's clothing down the path to destruction.  This man is not to be trusted with anything since he will sell out his Republican Party in the interest of making buddies with liberal Democrats and MSM.  His ideology is first and foremost John McCainism and not anything closely resembling conservatism, except the current war.  If he does get elected, watch out, his first edicts from the White House will be the wholesale sellout of the GOP on everything except possibly the War on Terror.  But even then, if he gets the right offers, you never know.  Is he a risk worth taking considering his record????

John McCain's speech at CPAC

I just listened to his speech.  He hit some good points from a conservative point of view, BUT..............
Can we believe what he says after his track record of stabbing conservatism in the back for so many years, ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Not only that, his delivery is very dry and lacks enthusiasm, almost as though he doesn't buy what he's trying to sell us.  It was pure pandering and I don't believe he built any new respect or support from the conservative base...

Don't believe in global warming? Go to jail, don't pass go....

This is why no one should ever disregard an environut when it comes to discussions about global warming.  They'd prefer to shut up the opposition rather than have a logical discussion about it.  Why, because they can't handle the fact that IT DOESN'T EXIST!

Needless Suicidal Tendencies of the Republican Party

I’ve had it with this McCain/Huckabee meets Republican nomination talk.  We are selling our conservative souls down the River Styx of liberalism in the hopes of meeting that great savior in Hades, big government.

I ask you why are we, as a Republican party, settling for a back stabbing charlatan whose claims to fame are a POW (something to be commended greatly), the Keating 5, and siding with Democrats on just about every issue since the ascension of our current President and before?   Those who profess to know better than us in the conservative base continuously tell us to give them money and that we should support our current lot since it’s better than either Clinton or Obama.  Why does it have to be this way?  Why do we have to settle for someone who is no more Republican than Hillary Clinton is a conservative?  No matter what he says, he cannot be trusted since what he says one day will be a guaranteed 180 the next day in the interest of political expediency to make him look better!

I say why don’t we leave the Republican Party and form another party (Born Again Whigs, Bull Moose, Waterboarders, etc…) where we create the rules we want to live by as prescribed by conservatism.  I can already hear it; that’s a stupid idea and third parties never win, idiot….  Okay, good point, then why do you think having a party platform based on conservatism but resulting in centrism and liberalism when applied isn’t a third party ideal?  The reason the Republican Party is now in chaos and ready to lose again is because the Republican leadership has sold its soul to special interests (their own personal power of increasing government footprint in our lives) at the behest of those who put them in power in the first place.  In eight years of the Bush White House, we have lost this defined line of ideologies.  We have accepted government expansion as a normal progression of Republicanism as long as it made nice with the liberal opposition and made people feel good.  Enough is enough.

We, in the base, are trying and WILL succeed in rescuing this party from the trash pit of political history.  If this takes NOT voting for the Republican nominee (if McCain or Huckabee or both) in the fall, then so be it.  At least we’ll have a real level playing field again, liberalism vs. conservatism mono a mono.  Hillary/Obama vs. congressional Republicans will reenergize the base because we will be able to redefine the differences between the two ideologies.  We will have a fight.  We did it once back in ’94, and I firmly believe it can be done again!  You can’t kill conservatism and I think the results of the polls during Super Tuesday backs that.  McCain isn’t connecting with the base and this will be his eventual downfall.  Conservatism needs an eloquent, charismatic standard bearer and the current group isn’t it.

If a Democrat is president next year, we’ll have no one to blame but ourselves.  We better damn well fight liberalism as hard as and harder than we ever have in the past.  We are the last line of defense on everything good and proper that this country was founded upon.  Two hundred plus years of liberty is being threatened with a neo-Marxist take over by liberalism.  We must fight hard.  We must take no prisoners if it takes holding up judicial nominees, if it takes filibusters, etc…; no matter what it takes, we must fight to the end.  Our country needs it.  Our party needs it whether some in our party like it or not.  We need to find our backbone again.  Someone is out there, we just need that someone to raise his/her hand and take the reigns!
